My visit to ISB and Microsoft-IDC: Key takeaways

I visited Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad and Microsoft - IDC yesterday.

In a short visit, the most notable thing I realized was -
Importance given to conferences and seminars - ISB is used to organize international conferences and amazingly they are managed by students. True, that conferences and events are organized by students only in all the business schools, what is amazing is that fact that the number of conferences is large and students are relatively busy and stressed with academics
At present, Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems is going on.

Microsoft IDC - They have recently build a new building and I atleast have not seen any other "campus" as good as IDC (barring Infosys). Although their old center is also good but this one truly beats everything I have seen. My friends who work there told me that this office is actually better than most of the Microsoft buildings they have seen including their headquarters in Redmond.
One of the best thing about the campus was a separate 3 storied building for parking.
